• Prepare the Glass Cup or mug

  • Carefully position the printed film onto the glass cup.

  • How to Wash a Cup with UV DTF Design:

    1. Hand Wash Only:

       • Avoid Dishwashers: Always hand wash the cup, as the high heat and strong detergents used in dishwashers can damage the design.
       • Use Lukewarm Water: Wash the cup with lukewarm water (not hot). Hot water may soften the adhesive or cause the print to fade.
       • Mild Dish Soap: Use a mild, non-abrasive dish soap and a soft sponge or cloth to gently clean the cup.

    2. Avoid Scrubbing the Printed Area:

       • Do not scrub the design directly. While UV DTF prints are generally durable, harsh scrubbing can cause the edges to peel or wear over time.
       • Gently clean the design area using a soft cloth.

    3. Dry Carefully:

       • After washing, pat the cup dry with a soft towel or let it air dry.
       • Avoid rubbing the design area with a rough towel, as it could cause abrasion.

    4. Avoid Soaking:

       • Do not leave the cup soaking in water for extended periods, as this could weaken the bond between the transfer and the cup.

    Additional Care Tips:

    • No Abrasive Cleaners: Avoid using abrasive cleaning pads, steel wool, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the design.
    • Protect from Scratches: If the design starts to peel (after prolonged use), consider protecting it with a clear acrylic spray or a durable topcoat, though UV DTF prints are generally resistant to everyday wear.

    By following these guidelines, the UV DTF design on your cup should remain vibrant and intact for a long time!
